Garrison Building for PVP

Back in November (last Thursday to be exact) I took my passport and my wallet for a little trip to America. There was Christmas shopping to be done, and oddly enough I found some excellent Black Friday deals on Thursday night. Needless to say, by the time the feeding frenzy of Black Friday shopping began at six a.m., I was still in bed sound asleep. Why? Because I had decided that I would rather sleep in than get up at 5am, hover around the four Monster High Doll Houses (or whatever the Hell that thing was) that went on sale at 6am, and fight a bunch of rabid parents just to save twenty bucks. Besides, the thing was already cheaper than I could have gotten it for back home (even with the exchange rate.) So, yeah. Go me.

Go go me.

Work smarter, not harder. Determine just how much your time is worth. For some people, twenty bucks might have been worth the effort of getting up early and fighting the masses for the CHANCE at getting what they wanted. I opted for settling for a good deal and spent my day not fighting any crowds while I finished up my shopping. At some point I ended up in Las Vegas for some reason and tweeted about it (#WarlordsOfVegas). I chose to enjoy my time. Can’t put a price on that.

Speaking of Black Friday Shopping and burying hookers in the desert, The World of Warcraft’s PVP season started today. Bring on the rated BG’s and arenas and such! If you are one who enjoys dabbling in the digital violence, you’ll probably want to make sure you have plenty of honor and gear to get yourself set up. Maybe some gold too because why not? Bajheera discusses the WoD Garrison building that is a must-have for anyone who enjoys PVP – the Gladiator’s Sanctum. This is a building that will help get you set up for PVP quite quickly by providing honor, gear, and gold. Not to mention some potential epic titles and gear in the Colosseum. Enjoy your time while getting max gains from it.

The Gladiator Sanctum – It’s like Black Friday shopping in Vegas!

WoD Garrison Guide

Warlords of Draenor sucks.

I say this because I feel like I’m in the minority. Most other people have like four hours an evening to play WoW. They bang out ten levels like it’s nothing and have their garrisons running like clockwork factories. Me, I feel as productive as sticking my dick in a fan.

I advise against that, by the way. However, if you feel the need to do so, I’m sure the gene pool would appreciate your efforts.

When I log in, I am all business. I don’t chat in guild. I don’t even read guild chat (so if someone has said hello to me when I logged in, I apologize for ignoring you). I have maybe an hour to play, so there’s no social foreplay. I just get at it. Hence the lack of blog posts.

When I first logged into WoD, I started the intro quests to get my garrison up and running. After that, I did quest chains and tried to figure out what the Hell my leveling guide was trying to tell me. Eventually I finished off the Frostfire Ridge quests and realized that I didn’t know what was going on (Read quests? Watch cinematics? WTF?). I decided just to continue the aggressive blitz to level and unlock more features of my garrison. However, what was I going to unlock? Sure I’d read guides, but once I was knee-deep in the resources I blacked out.

Bellular posted a nice garrison guide that I will probably follow. It covers different garrison builds, as well as tips for helping you put the damn thing together in the first place.

Now if only I had a few hours a day to play.

Garrison for Altoholics

Note: Yes, this is a short post. I haven’t even been able to look at my computer since Warlords launched, let alone play. But maybe this information will help some of you. That’s what I’m here for – to help. Also, to look damn good.

Ahem.

There are many people who are logging into WoW and wondering where the Hell to start when it comes to garrisons. The Kephas posted a video that will give you at least a starting point when it comes to leveling up your alts, especially those that you aren’t really focused on improving their garrisons. Hey, not everyone jacked up their farm in MoP.
