Farming Honor in Patch 6.2.4
With Legion maybe kinda just around the corner, people are starting to look ahead to a PVP life where Honor no longer exists. But I plan on using honor now, and I’m using it to beef up my garrison.
That’s right, my garrison.
Okay, improving the garrison is actually a side effect. What it actually relates to is getting a character to an iLevel of 675. How does that affect your garrison? That’s a future post, but it involves gold. Because of course it does. I don’t work my garrison for funsies, after all.
Honor is a great way of gearing up your character, especially this way. I’m sure I’ve posted this in the past, but SirPwnKnight recently made a video discussing this technique so I thought I’d give it a try. I had a warrior that I wanted to bump up the iLevel on, and I thought it’d be easiest to do it with some PVP gear.
Anyway, here’s the video. Check it out, and I’ll give you my feedback on it.
I went to Ashran to give this a go. Despite a gank or two, I found the farming to be easy enough and the conversion of artifacts to honor was pretty sweet. It worked out to about 100 artifacts = 300+ honor, and it took me less than ten minutes to get those artifacts. Getting decked out in short order, assuming you’re not getting your throat cut while doing so, definitely wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.
So give this a try and let me know how it worked out for you!
